I just wish that we here in Horsham and many other towns could take a leaf out of the cycling attitude and layout of many towns in Holland, Its lovely to see adults, children and all cycling around Amsterdam etc, just a dream I suppose
I very much agree, the Netherlands still have their cars for long commutes and longer travel outside of town and cities but use bicycles for inner towns to get to schools, local shopping, even elderly people cycle daily to shop and keep appointments, it’s just so lovely. I really hope the UK adopts this wonderful life style.
