Women’s bike ride 8th July 2017

A women-only bike ride to commemorate the life of Horsham-born poet Percy Bysshe Shelley will take place on Saturday 8th July.

Ladies who ride (British Cycling)

The easy 6km ride will start at 10:00am at the sun dial in the Forum and finish at Warnham Nature Reserve at approximately 12:30pm where refreshments will be available. Strictly for women only and accompanied children.

Event organizer Thea Bredie hopes that the ride may be “a small seed in support of HDCF’s larger initiative to help make Horsham Roads safer for children, the elderly and the disabled” and said:

“The safe route to Broadbridge Heath was a good start, although it is certainly not accessible for all at the moment. Having safe routes to Warnham and Southwater ‎would be a commendable next step for HDC to take.”

There is no cost but please register beforehand since numbers are strictly limited due to insurance requirements. Please complete a registration form, scan it and email to info@hdcf.org.uk.

You can find further details here.

The ride is being organised as part of Cycling UK’s Women’s Festival of Cycling and the Horsham Festival.
