Why drive when you can ride?

    Because car drivers cant drive correctly and dont give you enough room and take risks. Plus cycle lanes are full of holes debris etc.

    Er, ‘cos it’s peeing with rain? That is, the same reason more school kids get driven (in the motoring sense) to school when it’s raining. Maybe if the parents spent the kid’s mobile phone money on rainware… (given that ‘there’s no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing’)
