Fantastic turnout for Horsham’s Missing Link campaign photo!

Rain? What rain?

Rain? What rain?

Wet and windy weather didn’t prevent a crowd of around 40 people demonstrating their support for completing the Horsham to Crawley cycle route.

The depth and breadth of support shows the scheme has strong backing across the entire community.

As well as representatives from organisations such as the Horsham Society, Sustrans, CTC, the Horsham and Crawley Cycle Forums, Horsham Cycling Club, and HDC councillors there were many more who had turned up of their own accord on a cold and blustery day to show their support for fixing Horsham’s Missing Link.

They were families with young children and people who cycle to Crawley for work or leisure. Young and old, all came together to demand a safe crossing of the A264 for pedestrians and people on bikes.

Dadd,y Where's the cycle path?

“Daddy, where’s the cycle path?”

A journalist and photographer from the West Sussex County Times were on hand to record the proceedings, so do keep an eye out for next week’s paper!
